Quasar Elite is an exciting laser tag system from the people that brought you the retro 1990's Quasar. For those familiar with the original Quasar, Quasar Elite brings a whole new level to the gameplay with exciting new game features, software and team colours.

Each person playing Quasar Elite is put into one of two teams, red or blue.

The game can also be played in 'solo' mode (all-against-all). You wear a Quasar body armour / vest and carry a Quasar Elite laser gun. The object of the game is to shoot as many people on the opposite team as possible whilst avoiding being shot yourself. Both teams have an HQ base which you can shoot at and score extra points if you successfully tag it.  Detailed score sheets are printed and handed out to each player at the end of the game.

When you are tagged the pack will vibrate and the gun will tell you that you've been hit with the speech "Defence shield, Active, Active,". If you still have lives left you will be able to continue the game after the shield sequence finishes. Once you have used up all your lives, your gun will say "Return to energiser". Simply walk back to your own team colour energiser to reload your gun. Do not worry about being tagged whilst reloading. opponents cannot score points against players who have run out of lives.

Each regular game lasts 15 minutes with a 5 - 10  break in between games. For multiple game bookings please request when booking if you want them back to back or with a game break in-between. Actual game play duration can be a maximum of 99 minutes.

You have to be at least 6 years of age to play. There is no maximum age.

Playing Quasar can involve an amount of physical activity. Any player with a condition which they believe may affect their personal health & safety whilst at our premises must report this to Tiny Town staff at reception. If you are unsure if the condition would affect your ability to play, please call Tiny Town in advance to discuss. Certain parts of the Quasar system can be disabled to assist with players who may have a particular personal health concern.

Quasar opening times operate under the normal Tiny Town opening hours. These are from 9.30am to 5.30pm - Seven Days a week.  

The time slots are: 10:00, 12:30, 13:00 and 15:30. All parties last 2 hours. 

10 Children is the minimum for all parties
NERF Battle, Go Karting, and Quasar: Maximum of 14 children per party. 

Please note that if there are any asthmatic children or parents, anyone with a pacemaker or pregnant they should not play or enter the Quasar arena. However this does not apply to parents or children who are spectating the game through the viewing window within the vesting room.

Hot Dogs or Sandwiches, Yogurt, Crisps, a Tiny Treat and Unlimited Squash. Each child receives an individual party food box. (Fresh fruit platter available as an extra for £1 per child) 

Each party bag contains three to four items, they are also different for boys and girls.

Final numbers need to be confirmed 10 days before your party actual date. The final balance is also due at this point.

No. The Quasar equipment utilises Class 2 laser diode technology and are considered safe for normal operation. Class 2 laser diode output power is below 1 milliwatt. All Class 2 lasers emit visible light only (red in this instance). They cannot burn or cut. In the U.K. and many other countries, only Class 2 lasers can be sold as "pointers" or for pointing purposes. In the U.S. Pointers can also be 'Class 3R'.

Class 2 is the same as the Roman numeral "Class II" you may see these labels on lasers.
